I recently finished re-watching all 7 seasons of 30 Rock (for the 5th time), and I can definitively say that I am experiencing some serious withdrawal. But what pains me even more is that so few people either know, or have ever watched, this amazing television series. It's funny, well-written, and has a TON of jokes and references that you will no doubt find simultaneously offensive and hilarious. You may even find yourself lizzing...

But I didn't start this blogpost (is that one word or two...is that even a word...) in order to promote the best TV show ever. Actually, I don't really know why I'm starting this at all. Oh wait, I'm procrastinating studying for four finals I have next week, as well as starting a paper that's due on Monday. I keep lying to myself that starting a blog is perhaps a bit more productive than spending hours watching Sherlock or Golden Girls or car commercials (There's something about the roar of an engine and how words like 'throttle' or 'handling' or 'continuously variable transmission' that just sound so...provocative. How many cup holders did you say that BMW had? And your Volvo has how many airbags? It's gettin' steamy in here...) and to be honest, it's working. And besides, a lot of my classmates up here at Penn seem to have their own websites or blogs dedicated to their personal art, pets, etc.  I've never been one for bandwagons, but I figured this sure beats playing with matches.

I've decided that I'm going to close each post with a challenge for both myself and any potential readers:

Challenge #1: learn how to change the privacy setting on Blogger so that only I and a select few friends can see my posts
